Ruentex Materials has successfully developed patented technology for "porous functional materials" (Republic
of China Patent No.: Invention No. I783579), capable of recycling over 65% of silicon resources to produce
"lightweight microspheres" of silica glass inorganic materials, which are applied in various high-value green
building materials.

There are six aspects of potential value to Ruentex Materials' patent. First is innovation: transforming
waste glass silicon resources into lightweight, functional porous materials for thermal insulation, fireproofing,
and lightweight properties. Second is locality: Taiwan is facing glass waste disposal issues, but existing recycling
technologies are ineffective for glass with impurities. Therefore, resolving this pain point could create an
annual waste reduction benefit of 10,000 metric tons. Third is sustainability: expanding applications to other
industries to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction benefits. Fourth is commercial viability: advancing
recycling industries to handle difficult-to-recycle glass types, collaborating with factories to create win-win-win
situations and enhance commercial value.

Fifth is replicability: The lightweight microsphere technique and business model are replicable, becoming
a crucial means of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Sixth is digitization: Combining PLC automation
systems with visual digital tools throughout the recycling and reuse production line increases efficiency.
